It’s April first already. I’m not much for pranks, so there’s no funny business going on here today. If I really wanted to food Drew then I could convince him that I’m pregnant. Since I would rather him not have a heart attack, I’m going to skip this joking thing altogether.
I woke up this morning feeling sort of dizzy. My dad has been dealing with this for more than a month and I honestly don’t know how he is functioning. I would rather go back to bed than be up and doing anything. Hopefully the specialist that he is seeing next week can give him some relief, as I can only imagine how much he needs it.
The weather yesterday was absolutely beautiful. I wanted to go for a jog, but Alex wasn’t interested in it. I could have gone by myself, but I decided to stay inside with Drew & Alex and just relax. We are 90 days into the year and my mile total is 61.33. I hope I can make that up in the next 9 months and reach my 365 goal. Regardless, I’m proud of how far I’ve come so far.
Drew recorded a movie on television last week, so we watched it Friday night. Contagion. Have you seen it? Probably not the best thing for a germ fearing girl like me to watch. When the movie was over I picked up my phone and noticed I had some messages. My first thought was, “Who is texting me? Half the world is dead.” Wake up, Mandy! It’s a movie and the world population is not dropping like flies.
Drew is flying to Cleveland for work on Wednesday and wont’ be back until Friday night. I’m never excited over him being away, but it’s part of the job. I think I will reserve my evenings alone for Netflix episodes of Downton Abby.
Did I mention that we received the detailed information for our Florida trip? It’s crazy how details can amp up my excitement. I love knowing what to expect and looking forward to it. Is it too early to start packing?
