Full weekend

Sasha & the kids arrived Saturday morning. Bless her heart for making such a drive with a 2 year old and a 3 year old. It wears me out to think about it!!
It took approximately 2.5 seconds to pull out every toy in the playroom!
Sasha was happy to finally meet Eleanor.
Payson was worn out and I had the privilege of snuggling this sleeping boy.
Mom, Kyle, Misty, Kayla & Braeden came over for the evening.
Grandma, Payson & E.
Of all the things in my new house, the stairs are every kid's favorite. Braeden & Tessa.
We were trying to make a Halloween painting with Eleanor's hand & footprint. The foot part went fine...
The hand part did not!
I only like this picture because it catches Kyle sneaking a pecan turtle from the cookie sheet :-)
E & Aunt Sasha
Eleanor, Princess Elsa and Superman
On Sunday Sasha & I walked the kids to the playground in our neighborhood and let them burn some energy.
And the mommies played, too!
Tessa's hair is the closest thing to Princess Elsa that I've ever seen :-)
And then they left. They stopped to see Grandpa and then began the long drive back to the Oklahoma panhandle.  I loved having them here, but I'm quite certain that Crazy Aunt Mandy acted like a borderline lunatic all weekend. You see, I haven't had toddlers of my own in a long time and my new house is most assuredly not child proof. Here's hoping they want to come back and visit Crazy Aunt Mandy soon.
Once the house was quiet & put back together, Eleanor passed out on my chest for a LONG nap. A weekend of fun with cousins is exhausting!
Drew, his mom & his siblings had a quick but safe trip to Knoxville for his Aunt Paula's funeral. I'm so glad they were able to make that trip together.
He got home yesterday evening and we sure were happy to see him. Especially this girl...
I heard from Sasha this morning and she said that Tessa asked her if they could buy Baby Ellie. Sasha explained that that's not how it works and no, they can't buy her. Tessa's response? That she was willing to trade her pink sparkly shoes for Baby Ellie. How funny is that?! I guess she likes her cousin :-)
