Guess who smiled this morning?!  Honestly, actually, for real smiled?  At her mommy?!  Then at her daddy?  Eleanor!!!!  It was not a smile in her sleep or a smile from a gas bubble.  It was a sincere smile as I was holding her this morning and talking to her.  She smiled at me, I got all excited, I wondered if I imagined the whole thing, I yelled for Drew (who was working in his office), he came running and then she did it again!  It was so exciting and exactly what this grumpy Mommy & Daddy needed this morning.  Of course, I didn't get a photo of an actual smile (we were to too caught up in the moment), but I took a few when she was making silly faces at us.  She was really interacting with us and it was awesome... silly faces and all.  (It's a good thing that she didn't have a camera to take photos of the silly faces we were making back at her!)

I believe we can label this one, "Okay Mom, enough pictures."

Other stuff from the last few days...
Stacy & Patsy came over for a visit and Patsy finally got some good Eleanor snuggles.
Yes, another picture of tummy time, because I think she's adorable like this.
Did I mention that I ordered a treadmill?  We've very much enjoyed walking our neighborhood a couple of times this week, but sometimes the weather (or the baby) doesn't allow for a nice evening walk.  I had been doing my research and finally settled on a SOLE Treadmill.  Reviewers report high quality, reasonable price and excellent customer service.  I ordered it nearly two weeks ago and happily paid the extra $99 for inside delivery, including up or down one flight of stairs.  On Wednesday evening I got a phone call making sure we would be home Thursday morning for delivery.  They weren't kidding.  7:45am and the doorbell was ringing.  I don't even want to know what they were thinking when I drug my beautiful self out of the bed with Eleanor.  The real kicker wasn't the early hour, it was when they refused to carry it up the stairs, saying it was "again policy" because they could damage our home carrying that 300+ pound treadmill up the stairs.  I kindly suggested that I had paid $99 that said it was not against their policy.  He pointed out that that was between me and the retailer (SOLE fitness).  I suggested that it was between him and SOLE fitness, who hired his freight company to do a job.  Long story short, they left the treadmill just inside the door, in the dining room floor.  Lot of good it does there, right?  I was beginning to think that we would need to relocate the dining room table to the bonus room and turn the formal dining into the gym.  (Not really, but Drew & I were both very frustrated.)   Drew took the box apart and carried the few small parts up the stairs, but the bulk of the treadmill still weighed more than 250 pounds and we weren't sure we could do it.  We got it this far.

That's when Drew called a local moving company to see if they would come move it for us, because I have full intention of getting my $99 fee back from the retailer.  That verdict?  $90 an hour, two hour minimum, $65 for fuel just to show up.  Really?  $245 to move a treadmill up the stairs?  Nope.  Not gonna do it.  The strongest backs we know (and happen to be related to) couldn't come help, so we devised a plan.  I'll spare you the details, but know that Drew & I got the treadmill upstairs and into the bonus room and there are only two scuffs on the walls (which I can easily touch up).  Neither of us had to go to the Emergency Room (thank God) and now we have a treadmill in the bonus room.  Yeah!
Of course, while we were wrangling this massive machinery up a flight of stairs, Eleanor was hanging out  peacefully in her pack n' play.
