This is Larry

Heidi & Silas came for a visit last Friday. I suppose that when the babies get older that we will call these play dates, but this is all the child interaction going on right now... They were finally both awake at the same time... We sat them both on the couch while Silas cried and Eleanor gave him the stink eye.
I laughed so hard. I really hope these two love each other as they get older.
Eleanor is fine to spend some time on her belly, but she hasn't decided to use her arms for anything yet. In an effort to encourage pushing up with her arms, I propped this little pillow under her chest during tummy time. She didn't use her arms, but she pushed with her legs and wiggled enough to find herself high centered on the pillow. Silly girl.

At Kayla's volleyball game.
I thought we had time for her to wear this little dress, but yesterday I realized that her middle won't fit into it much longer. She wore it yesterday, but it's not my fave. I'm glad I bought it second hand, because I don't feel bad about her never wearing it again.
Moments later she threw up all over it and she spent the rest of the day in her onsie & tights. Problem solved!
I've heard about these little giraffe toys for a long time, but Alex & Emma never had one. I gave in and got one for Eleanor. The box says it's Sophie the Giraffe, but we have a friend named Sophie so we've renamed it.  This is Larry (I know, I know, we are so creative).  She loves it!
I found out the hard way this morning that Foose loves Larry, too. He was being so sly & gentle as he tried to sneak it away. It's been washed and given back to Eleanor. It's easy for chubby little hands to hold on to, great for chewing and completely drool proof.
