Eleanor's Baptism

This morning Eleanor was baptized.  Such a special day.
Before church (sporting a Razorback hand-me-down from our friend Sophie until it was time for the baptism gown)...

By the end of the service (when it was almost time for her baptism) she had finally given in and fallen asleep.  Kyle & I got her changed into her baptism gown without waking her.  This is the gown that I made for Alex's baptism when she was baptized in 2004.  Emma wore it when she was baptized in 2005.  It is special to know that all three of our daughters wore this gown for their baptisms.
I thought I could sit her up and encourage her to wake up, but she was completely out.  We finally decided that if she needed to sleep then that was okay.
Our family stood with us for the ceremony.

We are so grateful to have had family with us today for this special moment in Eleanor's life.

The potluck after church was the perfect time for some snuggles & kisses from Esther.
This was supposed to be a picture with Aunt Jessica, but Eleanor is a phone thief!
With more of our church family...
