Grandpa seemed more like himself today.  He's still really weak and is using a wheel chair. (Pam, I saw your comment about low B12 levels causing weakness & confusion, so I doubled checked his lab results... his levels are fine.)
He was evaluated for occupational therapy & physical therapy today. On Monday he will be evaluated for speech therapy, which he may need to work on cognitive skills right now. He will be getting a total of 3 hours of therapy a day. When you consider meals, personal care, and 3 hours of therapy each day, he will stay quite busy throughout the week.
He & Eleanor had their snuggle & bottle time today, something they've both missed this week.
This afternoon we pulled Christmas decorations out of the attic. This part of Christmas continues to be a struggle for me, so we kept it simple this year. We also decided to keep the bottom third of the tree bare (except for lights) because we have a toddler who thinks it's all too beautiful to stay out of! She's in awe and that makes it worth the fuss.

SUCH a sweet picture of Elanor and the tree. The tree is absolutely heavenly! All that light reflecting, the shiny floor and her silhouette.

The connection between Grandpa and Eleanor is so obviously mutual in this picture. My prayers are for his healing and your strength.
