HALO

Late October. 75 degrees. Have to play outside.

Beth Ann, you asked about what Eleanor was wearing in the photo I posted of her sleeping the other day. It's a HALO sleep sack and we love it. They call it a wearable blanket, but it's a lot like a baby sleeping bag with arm holes. They make them in jersey cotton, but we prefer the fleece because we keep our house quite cool at night. She wears her regular pajamas (whatever is seasonally appropriate) and then before I put her in her crib for the night I zip her up in the sleep sack. That way she stays warm and snug all night, but doesn't get tangled in (or wiggle out of) a blanket. She's been sleeping in one since she was 6 or 8 months old and she hasn't had any problems, even when she started crawling, standing, and walking. They come in different sizes to fit up to toddlers and I think they may even make them with feet holes so kids can walk. She also has a fuzzy blanket that she calls her "night night", but it's mainly for snuggles. Anyway, here's a better picture...
