Winter

Yesterday's mission was a family date to find a child carrier for hiking.  The Ergo that I often use to wear Eleanor fits me fine, but doesn't fit Drew well at all.  Also, the downside to being so snug in the Ergo is that it gets sweaty with very much activity.  So after last week's hike on the Highland Trail...

...the need for a better child carrier was obvious if we hoped to do much hiking (and we do!).  After lots of research, we landed on the Osprey.  We're super excited to try it out on the trails soon.
Quick!  Grab the camera, Eleanor & Drew are being so silly and cute with each other.  Nope, too late, the toddler has seen the camera and this is the only face she'll make now...
Winter arrived yesterday.  In March.  Eleanor saw her first 'real' snow (there have been a few sparse flurries in her lifetime, but nothing that ever accumulated).  To be clear, it was little more than a dusting, but it was enough to warrant bundling up and investigating!
